Most people bathe once per day, at the same time. Most of us shower or have a bath before going to work, or before going to bed.
But how many hours are there before you need a shower? For most people that would be when you start smelling, or when your deodorant, perfume, moisturizer, whatever stops doing its thing.
Especially considering how we all have different levels of perspiration and use different products, it is highly unlikely that everyone’s ideal gap between bathing is exactly 24 hours.
I do understand that for people who exercise and get really sweaty, or sexually active people, straight after those activities is a good time to bathe, and they are things that do fit into a 24 hour schedule.
But for the rest of us, I will presume that once per day is sufficient, which means the goldilocks period is greater than 24 hours.
48 hours feels like a stretch, and for workers the only opportunity is before or after work.
So I am suggesting that 1.5 days is doable. That means alternating night and morning showers, 36 hours apart.
Given that it is such a fundamental aspect of life, I’d like it if some people at least tried that for a few weeks.
