Every country will experience population decline, sooner or later. For the US it is probably later, as long as they are such a desired land to live in. But not helping will be their love of conspiracy theories and distrust of authority (unless it is MAGA).
Mostly due to Trump and his unqualifed bozo RFKjr, the following are happening in America:
- Decrease in vaccination rates
- Which means, when we get a universal flu vaccine, the rest of the world will profit from it, and unconvinced Americans will die in the next flu pandemic
- And you are 6x more likely to have a heart attack in the week after having the flu
- Meanwhile RFKjr is trying to bankrupt the companies making vaccines by claiming that they cause autism
- And climate change means an increase in tropical diseases for the US
- And the new food pyramid is pushing red meat and dairy, know globally to be the wrong advice
The above has serious reamifications, especially if people choose to disbelieve data on vaccines saving lives. People will literally die than admit they are wrong.
Trump is unable to come up with an alternative to Obamacare, so instead he will destroy it to prove how bad it is.
Deaths of dispair are a major problem in America, and the next new drug will have a ready audience.
Climate will of course cause more poor health, and poverty is a direct cause of their poor infant mortality rates. Trump’s disdain for environmental protections means worse air and water.
The only positive for American health is the weight loss drugs. That’s it. Everything else is getting worse. While the rest of the world has EVs, the metric system and increased life expectancy, America will take their own special path, as long as they are run by egotistical idiots.
