I’ve been thinking about rough sleepers.
For every one of them that has no other options, there seems to be one who chooses it – a rejection of the norm.
If we strip away society, we are essentially hunters and gatherers.
I think many homeless people are hunters and gatherers, but that isn’t easy in a modern urban environment. Fruits and berries to be picked is not a thing. Beasts to hunt is not a thing.
They are like pigeons – once of value and now just wandering around wondering what is the point?
