A city of 4 million people, with a lot of people living downtown, should be able to support a 24/7 business that is not just open, but good. For the insomniacs, revellers and shift workers.
- An assortment of books and magazines (purchase only, wrapped)
- Italian food and hamburgers, cooked to order. Limited menu.
- Big breakfasts available any time
- Pancakes
- Essentials like loo roll and paracetamol and cat food
- Coffee, tea, juices. No alcohol. Mocktails?
- Free refills in the wee hours?
- Lots of spots for one person to sit
- Ambient music. No TVs
- Art for sale on the walls, changes every week
- Phone chargers
It needs to have the best food and beverages you can get at 4am. The owner needs to be serving from midnight 5 nights a week. For consistency.
Close it from 9:30am to 11:30am for cleaning etc.
But yeah, a cool place to hang out that is always there for you, and has things nobody else offers. Maybe (I just realise the menu is similar to) fashion it like an American diner.
