Few if any believe in magic.
It (I believe) is a weak force that has not much use, a curiosity at best.
But I keep looking for an angle…. It won’t win Lotto, and it will only get get you the girl if she is almost, nearlymost, there anyway.
But magic also embodies a knowing, a prescience.
Antiques and unique items. Things that only have one potential buyer. That must carry power, the sense that a particular person will encounter and latch on to a certain object.
I trade in domain names. Unique items that generally only appeal to one person. the average time for me to sell a domain name is 20 years…
I have often compared domain names to antique pieces – individual items with possibly only one suitor.
What if I sense that suitor when I buy it, because I buy it?
What if (good) antique dealers are also magical in that way? They sense the buyer when they buy it themselves?
